April 26th 2014, I will leave Wageningen to try my luck in Macedonia - with Daniel and Choma (the cat)! For 5 months we will be working in tourism as Dutch speaking travel coördinators (there are local guides there already). This is not entirely what I studied for, but with the difficult times one needs to be creative about grabbing job opportunities and developing yourself as much as you can.
We will travel there by road, about 2500 km to Ohrid. For now we are working really hard to save up a few pennies before we leace, getting our house in order or the subrent period (luckily we found some subrenters!!) and preparing the things we need to take with us! :) I plan to keep you all posted about our adventures by updating this blog, your comments and latest news is also very welcome!
